Lumber yield of Sucupira-Vermelha in central Amazon sawmill

The sustainable use of forestry resources has an intrinsic relationship with log yield in sawmills, because the knowledge this variable can optimize processed wood production. Thus, objective work was to determine percentage sawing Sucupira-Vermelha (Andira parviflora Ducke.) logs different diameter classes and adjust mathematical models estimate wood. It sampled 56 diameters between 31 69 cm grouped into 4 classes.
